Diver The Game

DiVeR is a game in early development. It is focused on exploration, adventure and global management. It aims to reproduce the challenges related to diving underwater. The project has been started on December 2014, using Construct 2.

The game will take you on underwater missions, side quest and fish hunting, in an open world ocean. You will constantly have to watch for diving related parameters such as nitrogen narcosis, residual nitrogen, equipment maintenance and a marine life yet not used to your presence...

Your goal will be to be able to sustain your miserable land based life by doing jobs underwater. You will be constantly seeking for the most rewarding opportunities that boat captains, local marine scientists or others have to offer. Yet don't grow too much ego and as you will have to evaluate yourself before you take on a mission you are not prepared for or the worst could happen...

The ocean is an unforgiving place for those who do not respect its immense power and Poseidon is not the kind that gives you a second chance. Therefore it will take time until you can be at ease at any depth in a tumultuous wild ocean and become the one all the ports around refers to as the "Diver".

The Story:

You will start as a freshie with no diving experience, in need of a job and you will find an opportunity with this shady boat captain you met by the docks.
His boat is as flamboyant as his slang and he is eager to put you to work to help him fix his barely floating wreck. As you came broke, you will first have to earn your gear, so you can go dive at the bottom the ocean without having to come back to the surface everytime. Yet, be careful, air is limited and the dangers related to compressed air diving await.
Your job will be to understand aspects of diving in order to survive and be a successful diver.Your experience may put you on many missions, from salvaging, rescuing or even exploring uncharted depths...and uncovering the secrets surrounding some persons in town.
